The Kool Boiz Foundation Promising Men Mentoring Program has gone virtual.  In partnership with the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley, we have once again expanded our mentoring program designed to help young men increase their educational skills, social skills, and leadership skills.  The Promising Men Mentoring Program works with boys in grades 6th, 7th and 8th enrolled at Youngstown Community School and Rayen Early College Middle School in Youngstown, Ohio.

The Kool Boiz Foundation recently organized an exciting outing for some of the boys from Rayen Early College Middle School (RECMS), treating them to a memorable day at Top Golf. This field trip wasn't just about swinging clubs and hitting balls; it was an opportunity for these young men to bond, have fun, and glean valuable life lessons along the way.

At Top Golf, amidst the cheers and friendly competition, the boys enjoyed a chance to unwind and connect with each other in a relaxed setting. Away from the pressures of the classroom, they could simply be themselves, fostering friendships and building camaraderie.

However, the day wasn't just about leisure. As they navigated the challenges of the golf course, the boys also learned important life lessons. Whether it was mastering a tricky shot or dealing with the ups and downs of the game, they gained valuable insights into perseverance, resilience, and teamwork.

For many of these boys, this field trip was more than just a fun outing; it was a chance to experience new opportunities and expand their horizons. By participating in activities outside of their usual routine, they were able to discover hidden talents, overcome obstacles, and build confidence in themselves.

As the day came to a close, the boys returned home with cherished memories and a renewed sense of camaraderie. The Kool Boiz Foundation's commitment to providing these young men with meaningful experiences continues to make a positive impact, shaping them into confident, well-rounded individuals ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow.
