lit love

At Rayen Early College Middle School (RECMS), the recent Parent Teacher conferences featured a delightful celebration of "Lit Love" in the school cafeteria. Recognizing the pivotal role literacy plays in our daily lives, parents and students came together to revel in the joys of reading. Attendees engaged in various literacy-centered activities, including crafting bookmarks, discussing beloved books, and receiving exciting reading materials and bookbags. Adding to the festivities, a charming Valentine's backdrop provided the perfect setting for memorable photos. As advocates for literacy, we encourage parents to actively support their children's reading habits and engage in meaningful discussions about the importance of literacy in shaping their future.

In today's fast-paced world, literacy skills are more crucial than ever, serving as the cornerstone of success in both academic and personal realms. Through events like "Lit Love," RECMS fosters a culture where reading is celebrated and cherished. By encouraging children to immerse themselves in the world of literature, we empower them to broaden their horizons, cultivate empathy, and develop critical thinking skills. Together, let us continue to inspire a love for reading in our children, nurturing their growth into informed, curious, and empathetic individuals poised to thrive in an ever-evolving world.

Thank you, REC Families for making the evening one to remember!
